Romans 2:28-29 For [Jesus] is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

Who does Jesus receive his praise from?

God created in us a desire and a yearning to receive praise from Him.  As we learn to tend to our need to hear our Father rejoice over us, other invalid forms of recognition cease to captivate our focus.

Meditation:  Invite Jesus to rejoice over you.  What does he say? Feel his joy over you.  Let his joy be your strength.
